On Saturday of 25th April of 2026, the Kandhawa Green Children met for the continued education on matters of environment. Under the care of our two volunteer Animators (Mr Paul Odede, and Mrs Evelyne Augo), the children were taken through the importance of trees, with emphasis on Fruit Trees.
In our plan, we are envisioning a situation in which if the avaragely 50 children in this program get educated and trained on how to plant and nurture a fruit tree until it matures, and then they are entrusted with three fruit trees, we end up with an average of 150 fruit trees. We intend to network these children with one another and look for market for their fruits. We hope to partner with people who will help them do value-addition for the products.
In this way, we are slowly changing the community by involving the children in this theory of change. We welcome you to join us!
